Marina Volynkina is the rector of the Institute for the Humanities and Information Technologies (IGUMO), PhD in Law, and the author of several social initiatives. She is sure that the more you give, the more you get. The material does not always prevail over the spiritual. There should be harmony in everything.
Today, on the basis of IGUMO, several big social projects are realised. Among them are Global Talents all-Russian portal of additional education, Eurasian Women’s Community news agency, and Days of Contemporary Art (DOCA) international festival. On the one hand, these initiatives help people and develop society. On the other hand, the projects give students opportunity to get professional experience and increase their self-esteem. Doing good gives people strength and self-confidence. It is a win-win result for all. The main principles of the realised projects are important for Marina Volynkina as well.
The first principle: do more than necessary. Ms. Volynkina doesn’t just work bell-to-bell and is guided not only by official duties. She always exceeds the limits and surpasses the established norms. At the same time, Marina Volynkina manages to find her like-minded people and involve them in social initiatives.
The second principle: it is important to do good from the heart, to care about what you do, and to enjoy your work. Before you make someone happy, you have to find happiness yourself. Ms. Volynkina’s creative energy is endless. She gives all her creative and intellectual potential to her projects and fills them with love, positivity, and right message. She has the same attitude to her projects as to her own children. By the way, she has three children! According to Marina Volynkina, absolute commitment is the key to successful realisation of social projects.
The third principle: don’t forget about the spiritual part of your project. Any person has a moment, when it is important to think about the meaning of life. Realisation of social projects gives you an opportunity to help people solve problems and realise the great sense of serving your close people, your nation, and your homeland.
