Simone Harari Baulieu is a serial entrepreneur of French cultural industries. She founded and managed several production and distribution companies. Her current venture, Effervescence, produces a diverse slate of TV programs.

She has produced numerous TV movies and series in all genres : thrillers, cop-shows, comedies, romance ... and is producing  game shows that have become huge successes on French TV as well as foreign markets.

Her documentaries focus on pressing current affairs: science and innovation, climate change, European affairs and the prevention of antisemitism and other extremism.

She is also mentoring the production of programs aimed at younger generations, on new platforms such as YouTube and Facebook, as well as other new digital outlets.

Among her previous accomplishments, she created the first French sitcom, the first court show and the first French daily soap-opera.

Simone Harari Baulieu is a graduate of ENA, the famed French school of public administration and was previously involved in public broadcasting regulation. She wrote two books about television and how to broaden the positive impact of TV programs.

She was awarded the prestigious French "Officier de la Légion d'Honneur" and "Commandeur de l'ordre du Mérite".
